Payment

All payments to my online shop are processed by Paypal. I do not have any access to your bank details or card numbers.

All prices quoted on my website are in pounds sterling.

The price given on each product page does not include delivery charges. I am offering free UK delivery.

Orders & Delivery

Processing time

Items being posted will be dispatched within 3 working days & should take a further 3-5 working days to arrive with you.

Items to be collected will be ready in 3 working days. Please make sure you give me your email address at the checkout so we can discuss a collection time & date.

Delivery

All items will be sent using Royal Mail signed for 2nd class delivery unless you select 'Collect from Emily' at the checkout. If you would like to receive your parcel sooner, do get in touch with me to discuss other postage possibilities. Extra charges will apply. Unfortunately at this time I am unable to accept overseas payments, however if you see something in my shop that you would like to have sent overseas, do get in touch and I will see what options are available.

Returns & Exchanges

I check all my orders before I send them so that you receive it in perfect condition. If, however, your product arrives to you and has been damaged through transit, please email me within 7 days of your product arriving to discuss returns and refund options. Please ensure you are happy with your order before you place it as I can not accept returns or exchanges if you change your mind. Please email any queries prior to your order to make sure you get exactly what you want!

Manufacture & Aftercare

Manufacturing

All my fabrics begin as sketches, colour swatches and Photoshop designs that I turn in to warp and weft colours. I hand weave these yarns in patterns on my Louet David floor loom to create my unique fabrics.

After weaving, I hand wash the fabrics and have them pressed before sending them to Kalopsia Collective in Edinburgh to be manufactured in to beautiful products. Kalopsia operates as a social enterprise, batch manufacturing textiles products sustainably and ethically in Britain.

I believe that working with other skilled professionals within the industry helps keep traditional crafts alive and will help the UK textiles industry to grow in a sustainable way.

All parts of the production of my products are done by hand which takes time and skill, from hand weaving, manufacturing the products and posting orders.

The colours may vary slightly from the photography and the on screen image to that in real life.

Aftercare

As all my products are handwoven, they should be treated with love, care and attention.

If products need to be washed, this should be done by hand in cool water using an appropriate laundry liquid for delicate or woollen fabrics. Do not agitate the fabric but be sure to rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.

Privacy & Data

I, Emily Shaw, run Emily Mary Woven Textiles from my studio on St Mary's on the Isles of Scilly. All data that is given to me by yourself will not be sold, rented or traded at any time. All data saved is under a password protected site.

When an order is placed, your contact details are saved by my website host Wix. Their privacy policy can be seen below. You will be asked for your name, address, phone number and email address. This is so that I can ship your order to you and contact you for any issues that may arise from the order.

Other third parties that will have your data from me will be the delivery company’s - either Royal Mail or Parcelforce. These two companies have a separate Privacy Policy which are available on their websites.

If at any point you would like your data removed from my database on my website server, please contact me directly and I can manually remove this for you.
